Directions<\/h1>\n

From I-91 north<\/strong>\u00a0get off at exit 24. Go right on to Routes 5 & 10 \u2013 a truck stop will be on your left. Continue another 1.5 miles to Christian Lane. Go right on to Christian Lane. Go 0.4 miles. At the top of a hill the road bears to the left and merges with Chestnut Plain Road. Go 0.3 miles to the center of Whately. The Whately Inn will be on your right, the Whately Town Hall will be on your left. Go right on to Haydenville Rd. which is adjacent to the Whately Inn. After 1.9 miles you’ll cross an obvious brook and will start to go up a steep hill.\u00a0 As the hill begins to level off you’ll see a Y in the road. Go right at the Y on to Strippe Road. This road is about 0.1 miles long and runs into Webber Rd. Go right on to Webber Rd. After about a mile you’ll see on the right a red roofed barn and a small building near the road that has a tree farm sign on it. The driveway to our house is next to that small building.<\/p>\n

From I-91 south<\/strong>\u00a0get off at exit 24. Go left onto Routes 5 & 10 and over I-91\u2013 a truck stop will be on your left. Follow the above directions from the truck stop.<\/p>\n

From the Northampton Area<\/strong>\u00a0at the intersection of King St. and Bridge Rd. take Bridge Rd. west toward Florence. Go about 1.8 miles to the intersection with N. Maple St. There will be a traffic light and a recreation field on the right. Go right at the light on to N. Farms Rd. and go about 3 miles to the intersection with Mountain St. (T intersection). Go right on Mountain St. Continue past Adams Rd. on the left and the entrance to the Northampton water treatment facility also on the left. At this point the Mountain St. reservoir will be on the right. Continue to the first left hand turn after the Whately town line. This is Webber Rd. The total distance from N. Farms Rd. is about 1.7 miles. Go left on Webber Rd. Bear Path Compost will be about 1 mile down on the right – 134 Webber Rd. Look on the right for a barn with a red roof, a small building with a tree farm sign on the right as well as the COMPOST FOR SALE sign.<\/p>\n\t

Once at the Farm<\/strong> turn into the driveway next to the small building and turn your car around and head back in the direction that you came for about 200 yards. Look for the COMPOST ENTER sign on the left that marks the gravel road that leads to the compost sales area and accesses the W. Whately cemetery. Be cautious of oncoming traffic coming up the hill. After traveling 100 yards or so you will drive onto a large gravel pad with an equipment building on the left that includes a covered storage area for compost.
